A small cache in a very large area. The cache is in Pueblo Canyon and can be reached by any trail that takes you down there.
My walk down the Camp Hamilton Trail to the Camp Hamilton cache was so pleasant that I continued up Pueblo Canyon for a mile, eventually coming to a stop at this lovely spot featuring both natural and man-made beauty. The base of the canyon wall to the north features numerous tent rocks, some of which are topped with cap rocks. Further up are some nice cliff dwellings - binoculars will even bring petroglyphs into view. Look for cliff sites all along the canyon wall to the east until you reach the grassy area which marks the location of Otowi Pueblo. The cache is near a perfect settin' log which will give you a chance to rest and enjoy the view. Despite the nearby sewage plant and the airport to your back, it is easy to go back in time here.
