Mile End Cache & Dash Traditional Cache
wavydale: 346 finds since placement and time to call it a day. This is a popular stopping point for those heading North or South or East or West. Unfortunately the whole place is definitely in need of a make over, the tarmac is pot holed, rutted and the former well kept landscape is going to pot and is rubbish strewn. I have been disgusted with some placements in unkempt service areas and do not wish to keep this one going and have my name attached to it. Glad it got found so often, it being my most popular found cache!

At the junction of the A5 and A483 is a stop off point for many peoples trips into North Wales, so to add to the game I thought I should drop a cache in for those having a break from their journey. We know the scenario - I'll just have a quick look on the smartphone just incase there is a cache around here, blimey there is!
The cache is situated just a couple of metres from one of the several car park areas, so if you park right the cache could be in hand within seconds of pulling up. All too often places like this are not very well tended and litter tends to collect in surrounding shrubs, making for a not very pleasant find! With this in mind I have placed the cache where no litter was present (at time of placement). You are looking for a 35mm film pot in a cammo bag. It should make for an easy find with the hint so a low D/T rating has been selected. You will need to bring along a pen or pencil. Good hunting and good luck!
