Geocache Description:

Please consider the government's advice regarding COVID-19 before searching for this cache.

The cache is located at the start of a footpath around Hartwell, Eythrope and Stone, or a continuation of one if you started elsewhere! The old gate looks as it had been used as access in the past for vehicles or carts, but the ivy growing up one side indicates that it has not been opened for some time.

The younger of the partnership (she was 4 at the time) chose the original container, the name of the cache and the precise spot for this to be placed. However it disappeared after a couple of years. We then decided that there should be a spring/summer container and an autumn/winter one, so that is how it is.

This could be a cache and dash, as parking is usually to be found in Upper Hartwell. Please don't park at the bus stop on the A418!
