Geocache Description:

You are looking a camoflaged micro, but be careful as this is next to a busy road.

Buckleys history is based on clay, coal, the potteries and of course the bricks. In 1792 Hancocks brickworks opened at this location.


Lane End Brickworks, Buckley, 1996 by James Bentley

Buckley brick sold far and wide, and was recently discovered in a wreck off Sri Lanka (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-18192764) 

The brickworks closed Friday 26th November 2004, ending a 250 year brick making tradition in the town

This cache is placed in memory of the towns great herritage. At the original entrance, which is now an entrance to the new estate ironically built using imported brick. You are looking a camoflaged micro, but be careful as this is next to a busy road.
