This cache is at the west end of Canon City on Tunnel Drive. The
first 500 or so feet are a steep grade. The rest is a smooth grade.
Could walk or ride a bike. It is less than half an hour from the
parking lot to the cache. This is a neat walk if you haven't been
here before, or even if you have.
The cache is located in a green ammo can. The cache contains a
couple of new quarters, pack of flower seeds, 2 - USA Flags,
bracelets and necklaces that the little guys made for this. There
is a camera so please take a pic while you are there. There are
other treasures that I can't recall. Watch out for cacti off the
trail. This is at the bottom end of the Royal Gorge, so depending
on the time of the year, you will see rafters, kayakers and trains
going by.
