This is located in Red Canyon Park north of Canon City. Pull into
one of the 2 parking areas that are approx. 9/10 of a mile from the
entrance. Start walking up the sandy dry creek bed. If you are into
geology at all you will have a sore neck from looking around.
This is the second cache that we put up today. The cache is located
in a green ammo box. The cache contains a poncho, treasure tin, Hot
Wheels, a $50 key ring, a pack of seeds, 2 - USA Flags, bracelets
and necklaces made by the little guys and some new quarters. It is
beside a downed cedar tree between to large rock boulders. It is
covered with cedar kindlin. My E Trex showed an elevation of 6,377
ft. at the cache.
Pack a lunch if you want to. You could make this a full day.
