Nesles est une commune française,de 990 habitants, située près de Boulogne-sur-Mer (Pas-de-Calais). Son patrimoine historique et industriel est très intéressant: Manoir de la Haye, Moulin de la Neuville, la Glaisière, l'usine TRB, la motte Castrale.
Usine TRB: Terres Réfractaires du Boulonnais
L'entreprise TRB est implantée à Nesles depuis 1948.
Le groupe fabrique des masses de bouchage, produits qui servent à obstruer les trous de coulées de hauts-fourneaux,ainsi que du béton réfractaire qui possède la qualité de ne pas s'user au contact du métal liquide.
MANOIR de La HAYE
Le manoir de La Haye date du XVI° siècle. Il fut élevé sur l'emplacement d'un château construit par Charlemagne afin de se préserver des incursions normandes.
Il fut un lieu de rassemblement protestant au milieu du XVIIe siècle sous la seigneurie de Louis le Carlier, et une salle du logis est dite «temple».
Le logis est du XVIe siècle ; le portail, le pigeonnier, l'étable à chevaux ont été construits et les parties agricoles reconstruites dans la deuxième moitié du XIXe siècle.
Il abrite aujourd'hui l'écurie des Parpaillots.
Nesles is a French municipality, of 990 inhabitants, situated near Boulogne-sur-Mer (Pas-de-Calais). Its historical and industrial heritage is very interesting: manor house of the Hague, Mill of Neuville, the Clay pit, the TRB factory, the Mound Castrale.
Manufacture TRB: Refractory clays of Boulonnais
The TRB company is implanted to Nesles since 1948.
The group makes masses of corking, products which serve to block the holes of castings of blast furnaces, as well as refractory concrete, which possesses the quality not to wear out in the contact of the molten metal.
MANOR HOUSE of The HAYE
The manor house of The Haye dates XVI ° century. It was raised on the location of a castle built by Charlemagne to protect itself from Norman raids.
It was a place of gathering protesting in the middle of the XVIIth century under the seigneury of Louis le Carlier, and a room of the lodging house is said "temple".
The lodging house is of the XVIth century; the gate, the dovecote, the cowshed with horses were built and the agricultural parts reconstructed in the second half of the XIXth century.
It shelters the stable of Parpaillots today.
