Grawand
Die Grawand (italienisch Croda dei Cornacchie), früher auch Krahwand, von Krähe, genannt ist eine 3251 m hohe Bergspitze im Schnalskamm. Etwa 50 Meter westlich unterhalb des Gipfels liegt ein Hotel und die Bergstation der von Kurzras im Schnalstal heraufführenden Schnalstaler Gletscherbahn. Das Hotel ist mit 3212m das höchstgelegenen Hotel der Alpen.
Zuerst bestiegen wurde die Grawand 1853 anlässlich der militärischen Vermessung.
Erreichen könnt ihr den Cache zu Fuß oder über die Schnalstaler Gletscherbahn.
Die Schnalstaler Gletscherbahnen ist eine der ältesten und größten Seilbahnanlagen Südtirols. Das Skigebiet Schnalstal hat über 35 km Pisten und reicht von 2011 m bis 3212 m Höhe. Es ist teilweise ein Gletscherskigebiet, daher kann man an einigen Liften das ganze Jahr Ski fahren.
Im Sommer sind für Bergwanderer sind zahlreiche Wanderwege vorhanden.
In der Nähe des Hauslabjochs, am Tisenjoch, oberhalb des Schnalstals, wurde die Gletschermumie Ötzi gefunden. Zur Thematik gibt es “ an der Bergstation der Gletscherbahn eine Ausstellungen: Die „Ötzi-Showgalerie“.
Um den Cache zu finden muss kein Risiko eingegangen werden!

The Grawand (Italian Croda dei Cornacchie), also Krahwand of crow called is a 3251 m high mountain peak in Schnalskamm. In summer, many hiking trails for hikers are available.
