Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache and because the Cache Owner has not been online since September 2014. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Andres Bonifacio grew up as the father for his siblings. They sold home-made abaniko (fan), cane and other knick-knacks for a living.  Together with Emilo Jacinto (the so-called “Brains of Katipunan) and other revolutionaries, he established the KKK  which stands for “Kataastaasang Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan” or Katipunan. KKK rebelled against the Spaniards and their
rebellion paved the way for the declaration of the Philippine Independence in 1898.

The starting coordinates will lead you to Andres Bonifacio monument which commemorates the Blood Pact that occurred when the Katipunan was founded on July 7, 1892 in Azcarraga street (now Claro M. Recto), Tondo, Manila. The monument serves as a reminder that Tutuban Area is the place where Andres Bonifacio was born.

In front of the monument there is a concrete plate which summarizes Andress Bonifacio's heroic contribution to Philippine Independence. Check out the year when the monument was build by looking on the National Historical Commission Logo with the year engraved 197x. And right below the logo you will see a year period from 18ab - 18cd.

Substituting and computing the values will lead to the final coordinates:

NOTE: Parenthesis here is just a separator, no need to multiply. Its just simply substituting the values with some addition and subtraction.

N - 14 ba.x( cd-77 )
E- 120 (ab-5).b( x+14 )

On the final cache location extreme stealth is required because of heavy muggle traffic. Please be careful not to be discovered by muggles upon returning the cache to its original location. Please bring your pen and signed.

Note: appropriate time to grab the final cache is from 8am to 5pm ideally. Because there is a regular night market on-going daily from 6pm onwards and the final cache location maybe in-accessible during the said time.
