A puzzle cache set in the Whitelee Wind Farm locality. Whitelees Windfarm is the the largest windfarm in Europe.
It is situated 20 minutes outside Glasgow, and the visitor centre offers stunning views over the barren countryside. There are 140 wind turbines, which in effect can provide power for 160,000 homes!
Outdoor activities, such as walking and cycling are also the norm for this wind farm, with very well maintained pathways. Additionally, there is a good variety of wildlife to be found in the 25 square mile area, such as merlin and black grouse.
And now for the cache. This is all based on logic and a lot of patience!
Take all the digits from 0 - 9 and use them only once. This will form a ten digit number.
The sum of the 2nd, 5th, 6th and 8th digits equals a single number.
The fourth digit is a perfect square.
The 3rd digit is 1.
The sum of the 4th and 7th digit is a perfect square.
The value of the 10th digit is twice that of the 2nd.
The product of the 4th and 6th digits is equal to that of the 2nd and 10th digits.
The 5 is next to the 6 but not the 4.
Once you have figured out the ten number sequence replace the number with A,B,C etc.
The cache can be located at N 55. 42. HDB / W 004. 20. CBC
Enjoy and happy hunting!
