Geocache Description:

One big honkin' geocache.

When Steve of Team Tierra Buena retired, his co-workers gave him a geocaching-themed sendoff. And adenium, Steve's co-worker and caching buddy, was the ringleader. Among the many fine going-away gifts Steve received was an ammo can. Not your run-of-the-mill ammo can, but a BIG ammo can. A cache container this uncommon deserved an uncommon location to go with it, and adenium found that as well. Not only that, he slogged the container and its contents to where it now resides and has agreed to maintain this cache as necessary, since Team Tierra Buena lives about twice as far away from the cache site. Adenium literally did all the "heavy lifting" for this cache, and he should really be the sole CO, but he'll have none of it, so the best we can do is give him equal billing. And many thanks.

You will need an Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) recreational permit (AKA "State Trust Land Permit") to get to the cache site, though the cache itself is not on ASLD land. Four-wheel-drive and high-clearance are strongly encouraged. Then you'll have a short but steep climb with lots of loose rock around GZ, so we don't consider this "kid friendly". Original contents include litter bags, Maricopa County bike maps, the usual collection of trinkets, and a working AM/FM AC/DC radio (batteries not included) for the FTF who wants it. Feel free to bring swag that's too big for most caches, but please trade up, trade even, or don't trade at all. Also, please make sure the cache is well-covered when you replace it. And enjoy the views from the cache site.
