The Bee Meadow Pond cache replaces the 2008 Bee Meadow Lakeview cache, GC1GJH3, destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. The new cache is located along one of three ponds located in the 89-acre Bee Meadow Park, managed by the Hanover Township Parks & Recreation Department, Whippany, New Jersey
The ponds are stocked for fishing, but boating and swimming are not allowed. The three ponds total 22.5 acres of the total 89-acre park.
The ponds, originally quarry areas for clay used at a brick works, have become an important water feature in the community.
This is a small cache, log only, please bring a pen.
Take a nice scenic hike around this beautiful Pond, the trails can be muddy and Hurricane Sandy has left a lot of down trees.
