Meet the DizFiz Fan Club! Yuma Chapter President Traditional Cache

This series of caches has been placed to allow geocachers the opportunity to meet the most dedicated and hardest working members of any fanclub in the world, the DIZFIZ Fan Club! The DizFiz Fan Club was created to celebrate the awesome sauce of one of the greatest geocachers in the game today. DizFiz would not hold the legend status that he does if it wasn't for the support and love that he's received from his fan club members. Now its time for each of those faithful members to receive some of the credit they deserve by introducing themselves. 

I would like to start by saying that I am proud to say that I'm the most loyal, dedicated, and obcessed DizFiz Fan on the planet!! I founded the original DizFiz fanclub page in Reno, NV when I came to the conclusion that this true legend in our hobby wasn't being given the attention he deserved.  I wanted to repay what DizFiz had given me when he showed me the true meaning of geocaching. You see, before I was blessed with Diz in my life, I thougth a truly great cache was just a piece of paper shoved in a garbage plastic container in a McDonalds parking lot. Even when I got creative the best I could come up with were mint containers full of soggy paper logs.  Then I began to find caches hidden by DizFiz and I saw the light! I knew then that I had to raise this hero up in the eyes of geocachers everywhere! From that time forward I was obcessed. I followed every log left by Diz, every tweet made, I literally hung on every word.

Finally my day in the sun came when I was able to meet DizFiz at a local geocaching event. I knew it was my chance to meet the master and take home a piece of history. With sweaty palms I waited for my turn for a DizFiz autograph. When the time finally came I presented him with my favorite pair of magic underwear. He asked who he should make it out to, and I was too overwhelmed to speak. Diz could see it in my eyes, and in his kindness he went ahead and signed "To Baby-Cakes, Love DizFiz".  I couldn't believe it, I had been bestowed a nickname by my hero!  Paperwork is currently in process to legally change my name to just "Baby-Cakes".

Unfortunately life has been cruel to me, and I have been forced to moved out of state to Arizona. I took the lemons that life has given me, and turned it into lemonaid in the form of our first out of state chapter! Even though I'm almost 700 miles away, I'm still as obcessed with Diz as ever, maybe even more so! I continue to follow every move made by Diz, and even have local Reno cachers place caches dedicated to him from my account. I just can't seem to move on with my life in a new state until my idol knows that I think of him every waking minute.

My goal is to set up a chapter of the DizFiz fanclub in each of the 50 states, and Puerto Rico. I won't be able to rest until I know that word of DizFiz has spread all across our country!
