Anexa à igreja matriz, encontramos uma curiosíssima 'Capela dos Ossos', do século XVI, que segue o gosto nacional por este tipo de capelas, pois existem em vários pontos do país, como em Évora e, no Algarve, em Faro e Lagos. É Imóvel de Valor Concelhio.
Além do seu aspecto e da 'ornamentação' completamente invulgar, 'forrada' que está interiormente com ossos e crânios humanos, provavelmente oriundos de um antigo cemitério,
O que denota uma estranha religiosidade, em termos de arte sacra a capela limita-se à imagem do altar.
O Senhor Crucificado, um curioso trabalho em madeira, do século XVI, provavelmente proveniente de um antigo altar da igreja matriz (o do Senhor Jesus?).
Sofreu, certamente, algum restauro, como parece denotar o tamanho do braço direito, mais curto.

Annexed to the Church, we find a very curious 'Capela dos Ossos', of the 16TH century, following the national taste for this type of chapels, as there are in various parts of the country, as in Évora and in the Algarve, in Faro and Lagos. It is Property of Municipal Value.
In addition to their appearance and quite unusual 'ornamentation', internally 'lined' with human skulls and bones, it is probably from an ancient cemetery, which denotes a strange religiosity, in terms of religious art the Chapel shall be limited to the image of the altar.
The Crucified Lord, a curious work in wood, from the 16th century, probably originates from an ancient altar of the mother church (the Lord Jesus?).
