Hole in the Wa'
The 'Hole in the Wa' ' geocache replaces 'Lochside Cache' which was buried by the winter storms.
Not too far from the original cache site, this one is more protected against the elements.
If you park at the listed co-ordinates, you will easily be able to access the beach and the cache from here. If you park at the West End Car Park, then you will have to walk south, through the municipal gardens, to the cache site.
Once you are on the beach, be very careful as the rocks are slippery! DO NOT attempt to reach this cache from the roadside directly above the cache site! Walk along the shoreline towards Fort William (or, if you're heading from the West End Car Park, walk towards Ardgour) and around the small cliffs. The geocache is located in a black container on the smaller rockwall.
This is where you will have to use your geosenses and start searching. There may be a bit of a climb involved and be very cautious of the holes in the wall, as the edges can be quite sharp and there may be beasties lurking within!
Once you've signed the logbook and replaced the lid tightly and back where you found it. You can walk back the way you came, if you parked at the co-ordinates listed, or you can walk towards Fort William along the shoreline, cutting onto the municipal gardens by the Yacht Club building.

Be careful on the shore - it can get slippery!
If the tide is all the way in to the cliffs, then come back later!
