Geocache Description:

You will have to take a short walk to this cache. It is in a grassy/weeded area. BYOP!

This cache is located in an area that once had houses that were built for Military employees. They were built to last 5 years. When the Military no longer needed them they were sold to the City of Jackson for $1.00. The city rented these houses out. The material these houses were built out of made the houses look like they were made out of cardboard. This is how the area became to be known as Cardboard city. This housing complex provided a place for many families in Jackson to start out. What started out to last 5 years lasted 50 plus years.

Congrats FTF Lane5
