Geocache Description:

Arrange the words below in the correct order to see two 2 digit numbers. Then do a little basic math, as described below.

This is a 3-part (3 step) puzzle!

First arrange the words below, and then do some simple math.

(Step-1)   Below are 9 words in alphabetical order.  All you have to do to find this cache is arrange them in the appropriate order.  Simple!  :-)
I'll give you a hint... it's not alphabetical... it's not by word length... but when you come across the pattern (or method), you'll know it instantly and the numbers you are looking for will reveal themselves to you! After that, move to step-2 and do the math part.

The words you need to arrange (rearrange) are below, in alphabetical order (which you'll want to change right away):
eastern
enumeration
fee
gibbon
horse
illuminati
improv
tennis
valentine      

(Step-2) For the math, take the first two digit number that you discovered in step-1, and add .110 to it to get final three digits of the North coordinates. Then, subtract 54 from the other two digit number to get the last two digits of the West coordinates.

Just do the basic math... line up the decimal points, add or subtract normally and carry (or regroup) as necessary.


FINALLY, The actual coordinates are: N 36° 16.XXX' W 115° 20.0XX'
Just replace the X's with the numbers you got from the math puzzle in step 2.
