Geocache Description:

***Joint First to Find Congratulations to Anglei & Bob and DEO de GEO***
This Cache was placed in a scenic spot chosen to start the world race for Owen's Bear.

Cache is a plastic tub in a camo bag with room for swaps and TB's. Parking is available at or near to the Argonaftis Animal Park, and the cache is about a 15 minute walk away along a varying terrain path.

The dam was built in 1987 and the site has attracted a variety of birds since its construction, and today is one of the most important wetlands in Cyprus, both for wintering and migrating waterbirds and waders.
