Geocache Description:

Come celebrate International CITO day on the banks of Chickamagua Lake. Now with TVA coordinaton.

The TVA has over a quarter-milllion acres of undeveloped land available for public use, which including cache placement .

This lovely parcel was once part of an old homestead before the dams went in. Now it's a mixed public use area that sees its share of boaters, hikers, hunters, and horseback riders. Enjoy a leisurely 1 mile group hike to a campfire area near the shoreline, then explore the loop trail and old homestead foundations.

Please note:A TVA representative will be on site to assist. A Volunteer Waiver Form is required as well.

When: Pre-meet at 11:30, official event starts at Noon

Where: Meet at the service road enterance on Thatcher Rd.

Garbage bags and water will be provided.
