Traditional cache in the north Cotswolds, near the route of the historic Stratford and Moreton Tramway.
This cache's name reflects the location near the route of the Stratford and Moreton Tramway. This route was opened in 1826 as a horse-drawn tramway linking the two towns. It closed in 1882, but in 1889 the tramway was re-opened as a railway line linking Stratford and Shipston-on-Stour and continued operating until 1960.
The cache on being established contains a notebook, pencil and a variety of trinkets that will be of interest primarily to under 10s! Pub and parking available nearby in the village of Stretton-on-Fosse.
