Urban Micro Forest: The Forbidden Forest Traditional Cache
Great Birds: The Forbidden Forest is now a construction site. The cache is now guarded by muggles in the nearby construction trailer and a low fence impedes access. It is sad to see this forested meadow that was once restricted to visitors and served a hunting ground for birds become a new development. I'll miss seeing birds soaring out my window. But life moves on and caches get archived. Thanks to everyone who found the cache, those who wrote interesting logs and particularly to those who waved up at my office.

I've tried several times to get better coords but readings at the location are just too variable. If you have a problem, the hint is pretty specific.
The forbidden micro forest is coming back to life. The land is recovering from decades of use as residential lots and grazing land before that. While it is as much a meadow as a forest, just the fact that it is forbidden for people to enter makes the place attractive to birds. From the office tower across the street, I routinely see raptors circling over the trees in search of meal or a place to rest. The raptors will sometimes land on the window ledges of the building much as if it were a cliff. The value of property in this part of town means the land will not stay a micro forest forever. But until development starts here anew, it provides the neighbors the advantages of a forest, even if we are forbidden to enter. If you are visiting during office hours give me a wave, I’ll be watching.
