A small plastic tub with a bright pink lid, protected by a jolly looking stone - please leave as found. The stone is to protect the cache from the dreaded strimmer man in summer!! Thanks : )
This is now a small cache containing just a few little swaps. Room for TBs/coins etc. We hid it here because we use the canal on a regular basis - for walks or bike rides - and to visit local pubs for a drink along the way! Also we thought this particular stretch of canal could do with a few more geocaches to link Halsall up with Lydiate - it is a lovely stroll with plenty to look at along the way. Hope you enjoy.
