The cache is situated a 3 minute walk from Lidlington railway station which is part of the Bletchley to Bedford Marston Vale line.
The railway was started in December 1845 and was completed in the amazingly short time of 11 months. In the past, as well as passengers, the line was used to transport locally made bricks from the brickyards along the line and then to transport London rubbish to be used as landfill for some of the worked clay pits. There are plans to extend the line to Oxford in the near future. The lane is very popular with dog walkers.
