A simple first cache for us just off a footpath near a retail park.
This was our first attempt to hide a cache and therefore we kept it simple. We only live 'A very short walk' away and therefore we will be able to keep an eye on it to make sure that it doesn't vanish (Edit- Good job too, as it has run away twice!).
Although very close to a busy retail park the cache is hiding just off a footpath which can be quite muddy, especially if you go too far!! The tree cover can be dense at certain times of the year but at other times GPS should be quite accurate.
This is now the third incarnation of this cache and we have chosen to make it an 'immovable object' in an attempt to prevent displacement. Only the log can be removed now so please remove/replace it carefully, and there is no longer any room for a pen, so please being your own. Congratulations to 'A Mars Reject' who was the original FTF and retrieved the mini certificate and large marble that we had managed to get inside at the time. NOTE: NO 'BUSHWHACKING' IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE PATH... Access is via a stile to the left (as looking towards the GZ from the car park). Another of our caches 'averyshortspin' is also only another very short walk away.
