Here is yet another cache container that my brother made for us. We placed this in the South Branch Wildlife Management Area along with our many other caches. There maybe some bushwhacking in the summer and wear blaze orange being that hunting is allowed. Figure out how to open to find the prize waiting inside. FTF prize is a flashlight and we put other swag for trading for the kids.
This one is a bit of a walk from the parking area, with most of the walk on the paved trail. There maybe some bushwhacking in the summer and wear blaze orange being that hunting is allowed.
Please be careful not to lose the lock when trying to figure out how to open it. It's really not that hard, just look and you will figure it out. Please beware when opening the container as he may not like you entering his home. Don't be surprised when you open the container, he will not bite you. He is just protecting the cache and all the goodies inside. It has a lock n lock container with plenty of swag for the kids to trade. Hope you enjoy this cache!
A little information about the name, don't mind our pun on it!
Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus adamanteus) is the largest snake native to North America, reaching 6 feet long. It has brown, black and beige diamond marks on its back. This snake lives in forests near palmetto bushes. It makes its home in old animal burrows (holes in the ground). It is a good swimmer and can live near fresh or salt water. The eastern diamondback does NOT always rattle before it strikes.
