We've been given permission to hike this section of the North Country Trail by the landowners. This is a plastic jar with room for small swag. Bring a pen for signing the logs. Parking is at the listed waypoint. You'll see a gate with an NCT classic blue blaze on it to start you off.
Entering Tanger's domain puts you in headhunter territory so wear blaze orange during game hunting seasons and hope that he doesn't find you before you find him. He'll check you, steal the puck and be up ice burying it in the net before you realized what just happened. Kris is a product of the organization's farming process and our most favorite D-man EVER. He's going to be tough to find. You'll have some slightly difficult terrain, but also some nice, scenic ice to view. We really hope everyone enjoys these caches. Now we're getting out of the woods to go home and watch their victory over the Panthers. I had band practice so we missed the game last night. Two of our kids had basketball games early today, and instead of rushing home to watch the DVRed hockey game, we got lunch and headed out to this part of the trail. NOW, as you can tell, I can't get the game, or the love of it off my mind. Molly's ready to get back, too. We're gonna shower up, have a little dinner, then it's LET'S GO PENS!!!
