Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the Flume Trail. It is the shorter tunnel of the two in this location. The tunnels on the Flume Trail are my favorite places to hike to in the area.

Take Sheridan Lake Road and turn on to Spring Creek Centennial Trail head. There is a parking area. Cross the walking bridge with hand rails on the right side and hike up the trail head. When this cache was placed the creek was frozen. Usually there is water under the bridge. When you come to a fork in the path go to the left. It's a nice hike going up and then around the hill. When you get to the short tunnel you will want to take pictures. The views are beautiful and the path a nice one. There is no climbing to be done to find the cache. Please hide it well after finding it. If you want to find the long tunnel go back to the fork in the path and go right. You can cross the Sheridan Lake dam. The loop will take you back to the parking area. There are two potential creek crossings if you take the loop back to the parking area. Take your time and have a fun hike!
