On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... a partridge in a pear tree. That's the english version. Most kiwi kids will be familiar with our own New Zealand adaptation, and the illustrations by well known NZ artist Dick Frizzell.
Frizzell's work is best described as expressionist pop (Warwick Brown) in its appropriation of kitsch Kiwiana icons and incorporation of them into his often cartoon-like paintings and lithographs. He does not stay within one particular style, and often adopts unfashionable painting styles. Frizzell's best-known work uses as its base the "Four Square man", an advertising characters for the Four Square grocery chain.
The cache is a small container, camoed with space for small trackables/swaps. On placement, the cache contained logbook, pencil.
