Our Pop's Family have now moved from Coobowie on the Yorke Penninsular to Mt Barker .
His family live on Stephensons Street.
The year is 1949 and Pop is now working as an apprentice cabinet maker for Walcom's.
The original building still stands today although it has been under new ownership for the past 30yrs.
At the back of the building was stored the Hearse as Walcom's were also Under Takers for the area.
The current caretaker lives across the road and is aware of the placement of this cache.
Pop continued in this trade and eventually owned his own building company in Cairns in the early 1970's, building under the name of Bethlene Homes.
A combination of Elizabeth and Gwendoline his twin daughters names.
