Treasured memories of our past. TO FORGET ONES ANCESTORS IS TO BE A BROOK WITHOUT A SOURCE, A TREE WITHOUT A ROOT. [Chinese proverb] It was the mid 1950's and this area was once a lovely shaded park with many acorn trees giving shade. While our Pop worked or played his sport,Mum would bring us down in our pram to play at the playground. There was a maypole, hurdie gurdie, seesaw and swings --------It was our special time with mum. From where the cache is hidden you can see 2 wonderful timber carvings of a mother and father holding their children. We felt it appropiate to place this cache here as Pop was a carpenter by trade and he would have admired the work on the 2 carvings. Please replace the cache as found and bring own writing implement.
