Geocache Description:

An easy single-step multi-cache set in Beaconsfield.

Not so long ago, Beaconsfield was a small suburb, and being part of the fire brigade meant being part of the community. Not only does the fire brigade help locals in trouble, it would also run events like progressive dinners and Christmas parties etc. For a long time Bob Burgess was the Captain of the Beaconsfield fire brigade, this cache is dedicated to his memory.

Update December 2016, I new fire staion has being built over the road from the original, so the co-ordinates are updated, and a new formula for the final is below.

Update 12th November 2022.   We have simplified the finding of the numbers for this so you don't need to search, previously the numbers were on the flag pole but the fire guy wasnt happy with people looking at the flag poles,  so now you can just stand in front and admire the building, no searching required.

A = How many flag poles

B = Number of doors with red panels on them

C = Choose one door and count how many red Panels on it.

The cache can be found a short walk or drive away at:

S 38° A.C(B+C)(A+B)

E 145° A1.(B+C)(B-A)(B*B)

The cache is a small clip-lock container with room for some swaps and should be easy to locate. Please replace the camouflage it so it cannot be seen and muggled.
