NT: Jingili Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Balayang: I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Rapidlywild, requesting additional time.

An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.

Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

Geocache Description:

Northern Territory: JINGILI

New series to honor my hometown Darwin. This series will take you on a journey through a number of Darwin's suburbs. You will get some insight to the suburbs origins. I hope you enjoy :)

HISTORY OF JINGILI

Jingili was constructed in the early 1970s. Jingili is named after an Aboriginal tribe who inhabited the area around Elliott in the middle of the Territory.   The streets within Jingili are named after Flying Officers killed in the Darwin area during World War II and local people killed in action in France or Belgium during World War I.
