A quick little multi-cache that will lead you to some newly mowed and cleared land in the Alafia Corridor. The cache is NOT located at the listed coords but that's where you'll start. When you arrive at the listed coords you be at a spot where an old orange railroad marker sign used to be before this long before corridor was mowed down. For many years this sign greeted cachers as they headed into the beautiful northern section of the preserve. It was resting peacefully in the woods but now appears it has made its way to the great recycling center in the sky.
In order to find this one you’re going to have to do some reading as the number that was on this sign is referred to in the geocaching listing for one of the other caches in the area (thanks to theoryofreality for pointing this out). So get to work and read carefully. Once you have the number use this formula to find the actual coords :
N27 52.(070 + SIGN) W82 06.(722 + SIGN)
Once you have the coords then you can be on your way. You will find a recently cleared area of the Corridor we didn't know about until Paddler Found and I decided to check it out. This is a micro cache so be sure to bring your own pen.
