Geocache Description:

Another cache placed on the shores of the beautiful St Georges Lake Creswick.

This artificial lake was created to supply water to the Quartz Crushing Battery in Creswick as part of the gold extraction process. In recent years the dam wall has seen some upgrades to increas the height of the wall. Today this lake is used for recreation such as walking, fishing and rowing (sometimes). Bring your rod, there are plenty of Redfin here.

Be sure to check out the hand dug spillway nearby and maybe even go for a walk around the lake. There are some other caches on the trail that are worth checking out.

Please be wary as there have been reports of a snake in the area. Exercise the usual cautions.
Please be careful with the cache and rehide it well so muggles dont see it.
