Geocache Description:

Small lock and lock camoed container. Little bit of bush crashing will be necessary.

February long weekend of 2013 was a nice weekend for the 1rst LaSalle scouts group to head out to this cabin for some winter caching. While there, I (Pugbaby) introduced the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers to the sport of Geocaching. We went on a few hikes and found the already close by caches. We also decided to put together a cache and plant it while out here. Once it was put together, the Scouts, Cubs and myself strapped on the snowshoes and went for a walk to find a suitable hiding place. Turned into an adventure, got turned around and could have walked back to the highway had we continued on. I recommend using the track back feature on the GPSr.

The cache is a lock and lock sandwich container with logbook, pencil and some scouts badges for trade. I didn't have a plastic bag to put the log in so if someone could take one with them? Cache will not really be winter friendly, especially this year but should be easily findable.

Close by is the scouts cabin. The cabin is owned by the 1rst Crestview cub scouts. There are outhouses that may be used by the public but the cabin will be locked up. See the related link for a map of the area and information on the cabin.

Happy caching!!
