Geocache Description:

Welcome to Rame Cross. Most of you will have driven through, but few would have stopped.

The road you are on has been in use for hundreds of years and used by thousands of travellers. The village pub was once a coaching inn and the first stop on the route from Penzance to London. When it first opened the shop across the road was a small department store selling all lifes essentials over two floors to a large surrounding area. The terrace to the right was built to house the staff.

You are looking for a 35mm film container. The cache is hidden in a layby on the Westbound A394, at the top of the hill, just past the second traffic island. It is best approached from Penryn. If travelling from Helston there is a layby further down the hill. This road can be busy so take care with children and geohounds and the step up to the cache site makes it unsuitable for wheelchairs. The cache is not located in the stone wall surrounding the cross, so no stones need to be removed from the wall to find it. Congratulations to The Jets for first to find.
