A 7 mile walk along the Grantham Canal, Viking Way, and an unnamed cycle way which was obviously an old railway line at one time. I’ve started at the old Woolsthorpe Wharf, (No.#1) where there is parking, and refreshment available. You can of course start anywhere you please. There are various sizes of containers, from nano to regular, so you will need a pen/pencil. Some are easy, and others sneaky.
Have fun, and mind the little ones along the canal. I found some parts of the Viking way quite muddy in places, but nothing a good pair of walking boots couldn’t cope with.
The whole route is cycle friendly. Why not start from Grantham, and find the other caches that can be found along the canal.
