Roeany was married to Moses Shirley, Moses the brother of Jonathon Shirley. Seems the two Shirley brothers married women from the Savage family. The two ladies were Sarah Savage, wife of Jonathon and daughter of Zebulon Savage (a veteran of the War of 1812 and the subject of a multi cache here in Tuscaloosa County) and Roeany, granddaughter of Zebulon Savage.
