The Golf ball you see before you isn’t actually a lost golf ball from some giant’s golf tournament (fancy that!!!!)
What you see before you is RAAF Base Tindal’s airfield surveillance radar facility. I won’t bore you with a heap of info as there is an informative sign close to the GZ. While out this way head down Fox road (to another cache!!) and you will be able to enjoy looking at some mango and watermelon farms. Enjoy the cache and enjoy the trip out there.
