Un giro tra i vicoli di Brescia

Questa multi vi permetterà di girare nella Brescia dei vicoli e scoprire dei veri e propri tesori, non sempre noti a tutti.

(A)            Monastero di Santa Giulia

Se avete la possibilità entrateci. È l’unico ingresso a pagamento che vi propongo, ma è veramente di notevole bellezza. Dal 2011 è iscritto alla lista dei patrimoni per l’umanità dell’UNESCO.  Vi consiglio  le domus, la chiesa di S.Salvatore/S.Maria in Solario.

(B)            Chiesa di San Cristo

Il nome esatto della chiesa è Santo Corpo di Cristo o del Corpus Domini, figurando come prima chiesa al mondo esclusivamente dedicata all’Eucarestia. Per la bellezza degli affreschi è nota anche come la “Cappella Sistina” di Brescia. L’entrata della chiesa è posta all’interno del monastero passando da un chiostro. La chiesa è aperta in concomitanza degli orari di apertura della libreria dei saveriani.

(C)            Chiesa di San Clemente

Questa chiesa dalla facciata semplice con aspetti neoclassicheggianti racchiude al suo interno opere di rilievo. Gli altari lungo la navata sono arricchiti da notevoli opere del Moretto (Sant'Orsola e le vergini, Sposalizio mistico di Santa Caterina, Offerta di Melchisedech ad Abramo, Sacra conversazione con Santa Caterina, Domenico, Clemente, Floriano, Maria Maddalena, Le sante martiri) e del Romanino (Resurrezione di Cristo fra San Clemente 

(D)           Il bue d’oro

Questa è una curiosità:

All’angolo tra Via Trieste e Via Agostino Gallo esiste una statua lignea di un bue, dorata, posta su un baldacchino anch’esso di legno. Come mai? Una leggenda dice che nei pressi della piazzetta Giovanni Labus esisterebbe sepolto un bue d’oro zecchino. a tal proposito si ricorda che in questi luoghi fu ritrovata la bronzea Vittoria Alata…

(M)     Museo strumenti musicali liuteria bresciana

Al punto indicato trovate un piccolo museo privato, ad ingresso gratuito; per diversi pezzi esposti è unico al mondo. Qui potete trovare, ad esempio, un rarissimo violino-tromba. A guidarvi sarà uno stravagante, ma –a suo modo- simpatico signore.  Questo reference point non vi serve per trovare il final, ma visto che è sulla strada ve lo segnalo.

(E)            Chiesa di Santa Maria della Carità

                Recentemente restaurata è un fantastico esempio di costruzione in stile barocco. Ne rimarrete colpiti da tanto splendore.

                Curiosità’ 1: l’interno è caratterizzato da una inconsueta pianta ottagonale

     Curiosità 2: la grande sorpresa sta però dietro l’altare maggiore dove è riprodotto l’interno della   casa della madonna del Loreto!
