How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The second in a series of caches named after locations from JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. This one is named after the town of Bree where the four Hobbits meet with Strider at The Prancing Pony.

Not suitable for pushchairs or buggies.
OK for dogs and small children.
The area can be very muddy after persistent rainfall.

Please do not attempt to go straight to this cache from the previous one in the series (Whitehill – Middle Earth #1. Fangorn). Please keep to the footpaths and use the additional waypoint supplied.

The cache is in a micro container with no room for swaps and trackables.

This cache has been placed within a nature reserve and with the kind permission of the rangers and trustees. At all times, please respect the area and wishes of the trustee's accordingly.

Please practice CITO - This would be a good way of repaying the trust placed in us by the reserve's ranger and trustees.

If you take a dog with you please remove any fouling that it might have done.
