The Centennial Series
The Centennial Series will be comprised of 100 caches placed during 2013 in celebration of the 100 year birthday party for the city of Banning, CA; a city that is becoming known as a cache rich area.
All 100 caches in the series will be published approximately every four to five days and located within 10 miles of the first hide Centennial #001. In December of 2013 we will release a Final Centennial Challenge Cache with a “First To Find” prize. The requirements to log the Final Challenge will be that you must have logged a find on all 100 of the caches in the series prior to logging the final. The series is intended to have something for everyone and will vary in style and difficulty. The caches will be placed by a team of three experienced Geocachers who reside in the area.
If only this place had the grass trimmed and a few bases in place . . . oh well, good enough for a cache. Wheeler Dealer placed the original cache here back in April 2010 a few weeks before the first Geocaching Meet and Greet in Banning, CA. They are archiving most of their hides and have allowed us to maintain this neat cache. This is a new listing with the original container located just like it was when it was first published. If you found and logged this cache before, you are welcome to do so again if you like. Use a TOTT to protect the container.
