Calluna Tib: As there has been no response from the cache owner to my previous request for intervention, I am now archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Torquay Cenotaph
They shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn,

One of a series of caches placed at various locations around Torquay to help us remember the sacrifices made and still being made so that we may live the lives that we do.
When i started this series my plan was to place caches near to memorial plaques around Torquay, however other caches close to where i was planning to put mine meant i had to change my plans and i decided to place them areas where significant events during WW2 occured, the DDay slipways, a bombed prominent hotel, a church, the home guard headquarters etc. each having its own story behind it. This one is different there is no story behind it, just the fact that the Cenotaph is the central point of remembering those who gave their tomorrows so we could have our todays.
Please spend a few moments to remember their sacrifice.
The cache is not situated on or around the Cenotaph but at a respectful distance away.
