Monthly COG Meeting
Well since Spring Fling is not on the traditional 2nd Saturday of the month this year it looks like we have an oppurtunity to have our monthly Central Oklahoma Geocachers meeting in April.
For those who have attended before you know the drill, for those who have yet to attend here is the lowdown.
We will be meeting for lunch on Saturday, April 13th at 11:00am. We gather together to eat and to forge new friendships and to reaffirm old ones. Swapping stories, hints or even trackables is what makes these meetings fun. We usually have a few announcements and also a get-to-know-you question if I can think of one........I am also sure I will round up some door prizes to give away too. No charge to join the fun but you do have to pay for your own meal!
The last few meetings we have been running about 50 strong and that has been really cool! New cachers are especially welcome! We love to put faces on the names we see all over those beautiful log sheets.
This months meeting will be held at Shorty Smalls on SW 20th and Meridian. The meeting begins at 11:00 and will go to around 1:00. Since it almost always rains on the second Saturday in April..... (Traditional Spring Fling Date) I have named this meeting April Showers. Hopefully it will break that curse and all future spring flings will be dry!
Have fun caching before or after the meeting because there are a bunch of caches in the area. Some are skirt lifters and some promise to draw a little blood!
Please reply with a "will attend" and let me know how many are coming so we can get an approximate head count so the restaurant can be prepared.
