Geocache Description:

A walk in the woods that few people seem to know about.

Eagle Eyes won this geocache at the Toronto Meet & Greet event last weekend.  It’s a standard camoed lock ‘n’ lock and was already pre-loaded with a logbook and swag.  All we had to do was hide the cache!

This park on Brimley Rd. looked like a great spot, based on the Google satellite view.  Plenty of trees, and not a single cache within kilometres!  I’d driven by it before, but never checked it out or gave it a second thought.  We explored this gem and found a few nature trails and some exercise stations.  Everything was pretty much covered in snow, but a few people were out enjoying the park.

The cache location is a standard geocaching hide that is winter-friendly up to a point.  If there’s more than a foot of snow, it might be a little tough to find the cache.

Parking:  There’s no parking at the park itself, unfortunately.  The best place to park is at the little mall on the southwest corner of Brimley & Alexmuir Blvd.  Be careful when crossing Brimley Rd. to get to the park.  The trail entrance is right near the bus stop on the east side of Brimley.
