"Cry" is a tribute cache dedicated to the late and great Johnnie Ray.
Once you have found the cache you may want to look for his gravestone which you will find approximately 450' Northeast of the cache. Coords posted by rtymss are N 45 06.259 W 123 06.089
As always when visiting cemeteries, please be respectful and careful on the grounds
The 1950's brought some really good music to us and many of the songs we seniors remember well were passionately sung by Johnnie. I sat down in the front row at the Multnomah County Fair as a teen just so I could hear him sing and see if it was really true that he cried when he sang some of his songs. Sure enough, as he finished his last number, "Cry", I could see the tears glistening on his cheeks. Ray was sometimes called "The "Cry Guy", "The Nabob of Sob", "The Prince of Wails", "Mr. Emotion", and my favorite, "Mr. Cry".
