Be aware of tree roots crossing the trail. The difficulty of locating the cache is level 2. Elevation of the cache is 141 feet.



Leesylvania’s Tree-mendous Adventure cache is located in the area of Powell’s Creek Trail. There is an initially steep climb up the trail from the gravel parking lot but after that the terrain is relatively flat which gives this trail a difficulty rating of 3.  The hike is less than a mile and travels along hard-packed dirt trails. Be aware of tree roots crossing the trail. The difficulty of locating the cache is level 2. Elevation of the cache is 141 feet. The cache is a small, round plastic box featuring a transparent lid and black base. It is located no more that 20’ off the trail. Using the pen in the box, visitors will be prompted by the log book to contribute their thoughts and observations of the forest around them.
