Geocache Description:


You are probabley wondering what PWOG stands for, if you look east across the valley where the River Witham flows you will see an army camp on the crest of the hill. Its name is Prince William of Gloucester Barracks, hence PWOG. Now it is the home to the TA , Royal Logistics Corps. Previously it was known as RAF Spittalgate where pilots trained during both world wars.
