Come CITO Bauxite Ridge!
Yep, that’s right folks! The 11
th annual International Cache in Trash Out weekend is right around the corner. And to make it extra special, (drum roll please…) Groundspeak has announced that
anyone who attends a CITO event this year on either April 20 or April 21
will get a SPECIAL SOUVENIR!!!
I’ve hiked Bauxite Ridge many times this winter, and have unfortunately noticed a substantial amount of trash out there. So…I thought,
why not hold a CITO out here?
So that’s what this is! Come meet me at the above listed coordinates at 2pm on April 20, 2013, and let’s have a grand time cleaning up the environment! It’s absolutely gorgeous out there, and the terrain varies from 2.5 to 4.5, so there’s an area for people of all terrain levels to clean up. You can take it easy and just pick up trash in a small, easy terrain area, or if you want you could try to attack the whole ridge! (Though I don't recommend that.) Point being, anyone can participate in this event...
This is also a great opportunity for those of us who haven’t picked up all the caches out at this back end of Bauxite Ridge to do so.
So come on out and help the environment, maybe pick up a few caches, and
earn THAT SPECIAL SOUVENIR!!!
