Geocache Description:


There used to be a multi-cache among the couple other micros up here, Pointe of View.  I DNF'd that a couple of times and my gut feeling says that it was missing those times I went looking for it.  Not long ago, it was archived and it freed up some room.  I've been scouting around for more locations for my ongoing Achtung Baby series which celebrates the music of legendary rock band U2.  This cache, Elevation is appropriately named since you are up on a mountain.  I could have made this one a guardrail or LPC, but I figured I have too many of those and a spot caught my eye and I decided to get some more elevation and check it out and saw it had room for a large cache, so this one is loaded up with some goodies for the kids and has a couple of TB's looking to move that I've held onto too long now.

Although the parking area should be fairly empty, be on the lookout for the occassional car or employee out back and be aware that you'll be kind of exposed, but you'll get a nice view of I-279 from this elevation.  Be careful heading up and down the hill, but there is fence that you can use to make the climb a little easier.
